However, especially in light of the recent oil crisis with BP in the Gulf of Mexico, we are starting to understand the enormously high cost of our continued dependence on fossil fuels - both economically and environmentally. Hopefully this will lead to a change in attitude towards alternative energy resources as we realize that that we need to actively pursue green energy sources before it is too late. Solar energy is such an abundant resource and it is a pity that we aren’t making better use of it.
