  1. The Reformer says:

Yes it will work the basic thing is that each and every individual should develop the habit of saving energy, electricity……

  2. Tom S says:

Cap and Trade will devastate the middle class, higher energy bills will cost everyone. The Earth will continue on in its cycle and China will laugh at us for killing what little industry is left in this country. Green is a fad that is a money grab for the government.

Yeah, the Cap & Trade Bill will lower cost for the average household to the tune of $1218 MORE a year!! Now that’s change we can believe in!! Oh Yeah!

  4. Nik says:

If you had $1000 in March, it would be worth $800 today. You can thank Mr. Barrack Hussein Obama.

  5. Scott W says:

    It doesn’t save money….

    1) only aluminum cost less to recycle
    2) Wind turbines cost 3X than nuclear reactors per KW
    3) Solar power roof panels take more than 9 years to pay for themselves, but generally have 5 year warranties

    Need I go on???

i do not know if obama will send bill to entertain the ladies at a fema camp. but the best way to sell green energy goals to the middle class is price. if a company could generate electricity and sell it at a profit using these green methods while offering a discount rate the need for the government to spend money promoting it would be gone.

The biggest problem is the cost to install green energy products. It can cost many thousands of dollars to have a wind generator or solar power system installed.

Of course you could decide to make your own. This would reduce the cost significantly. You can make a windmill generator or your own solar panels for under $200.

They may not be the best looking but they will still save you around 70 – 80% on your energy bills.

I found a great guide to do just this and am giving it a go.

Why wait on the government when you can do it yourself?
