Is it true that there is a law that people have to recycle?

I believe it should be my choice if I want to recycle or not. Why don’t we just make a landfill out of the grand canyon that should hold trash for many years.

Yes, but that is one of many UNENFORCEABLE laws on the books.

I believe they have a similar law in Singapore.. it’s illegal to throw a gum wrapper on the floor [or any trash at all]. That’s why Singapore is the cleanest country in the world. [that a fact by the way].

There are laws that say we have to dispose of unwanted stuff responsibly. It is no longer a choice – we clean up our act or the planet will kill us off.

Yes, there should be law to recycle.
In developed countries if anyone recycles things then there tax on income is decreased a lot.

it will be soon that we will have a law that people must be recycled,as compost and pet food would be the best way to start with,

and the people that are into landfills should fill the land first
