How to Install Laminate Solar Panels (Unisolar)

Here workers are installing a laminate, or think film solar collector on a rooftop in Albuquerque New Mexico. The rolls of solar laminate are adhered to the roof using their own adhesive backing. The modules are then wired and connected to the central inverter.

you guys did not even clean the rubber – these panels are delaminated by now … do you have recent pictures of this installation?

In any case, the butyl adhesive on these unisolar laminates has real problems sticking to rubber, so I know that you had many problems with this installation, with panels coming off the roof.
