I am trying to do this but when I went to my local home depot all the solar lights had circle panels (which were too big to fit on my phone) and only measure 2.2 volts (each) in direct sunlight.

1.) how big is your phone? I have a 4 inch display on my phone so it’s pretty big, but not big enough to fit 2 of the panels that were on the solar lights at my store.

2.) where did you get your lights with panels?

You could just buy an LG Pop (GD510) which is a dedicated eco phone with solar panel. ;D
