Can the use of Geothermal Energy really cause earthquakes? And if so, where can they be created?

Can the earthquakes occur anyplace where geothermal energy is produced and used? Or is it just certain areas where earthquakes are already common in the habitat? Like places where there are fault lines already.

YES. When you suck the heat out of the Earth, more heat rises to replace the displaced energy causing a draft on the other side of the World and will inevitably change the entire global weather sphere and cause a reverse in current global warming patterns, but the real tragedy will be the massive earthquakes brought on by the stirring of heat belts deep within the planet. Volcanoes could actually pop up in farfetched regions like Washington DC and flood the entire Capital in lava.

Earth quakes happen everywhere and are unpredictable. Iceland uses Geothermal Energy exclusively. You are tapping into the Mother Earths heat. No I do not believe that this alone would cause an earth quake.
