It has a “half life” that helps it to live longer.
    Hard to get rid of.

disadvantages to nuke power is the waste, there is literally no where on earth we can store it without it causing damage, so we need to figure that out first..hard

geothermal is like wind or hydroelectric, it simply uses the heat in the ground to boil water, make steam turn turbines, and make electricity .. easy

    Geothermal: How Does it Work?

The main form of geothermal power is where bodies of water, either above or below the earth’s surface, are converted to steam by the earth’s heat. The steam is collected, and used to power a turbogenerator just like in a regular coal fired power station.

The temperature of the earth’s core is estimated to be 6000 degree Celsius.

The greatest disadvantage of nuclear energy is the problem of disposing of the radioactive spent fuel rods. They stay dangerously radioactive for thousands of years.

Geothermal energy is tapping the heat of the earth to boil water that drives steam turbines (similar to the way nuclear energy is used.) It’s common in places like Iceland where volcanic activity has provided plenty of “hot spots” with plentiful, consistent heat to tap.
