Is green energy the same as using hamsters and their wheels to make electricity?

if we only give enough money to buy enough hamsters to run in their lil wheels with generators hooked up to them,wouldn’t we have enough for every ones needs EVENTUALLY…its all just an investment.. we will invent a super hamster …
