I think the government should manufacture solar panels. Do you agree?

Here’s an idea, the government starts manufacturing small solar panels and hands them out to every home in America for them to be installed into their meters. These manufactures would then sell to other countries. Green jobs, green energy and green wallets. The peoples tax money well spent.
