Why did plants evolve to have green leaves?
Most of the suns energy is in the yellow / green part of the spectrum. It does not make sense for plants to reject this and reflect It away. On another planet plants may have evolved to accept it and be magenta in colour.
Green plants are producers that use light energy to make?
chlorophyll
glucose
proteins
starch

Can plants still photosynthesize in green light?
i know that chlorophyll can’t absorb green light.
do they get energy from respiration or something so they can continue to photosynthesize for food?
what molecules in plants help get energy from the sun?
anyone know what molecule in green plants helps harvest energy from the sun. and where to find it in the cellular structure? thanks to anyone that helps im so confused on this one
thanks!
i guess thats what im looking for haha honestly i dont know im trying to figure it out (: thanks
